Abstract: The present invention relates to a compact handheld natural fiber decorticator configured to separate fibrous material from plant stems, stalks, bark, leaves, or agricultural residues for small-scale fiber processing. The decorticator comprises a lightweight mechanical frame, a fiber feeding region, a fiber separation mechanism, adjustable gripping and processing components, and ergonomically positioned structural supports. The device is configured to mechanically remove non-fibrous portions while minimizing fiber damage and processing losses. Its compact and modular construction enables convenient operation, transportation, cleaning, maintenance, and replacement of working components. The invention is particularly suitable for farmers, rural entrepreneurs, researchers, artisans, and small-scale natural-fiber processors requiring decentralized fiber extraction.
