Abstract: A handheld grain collection assistive device comprises of an elongated body 101 having a proximal end 102 attached with an extendable handle 103 enabling a user for positioning a distal end 104 of the body 101 over a surface having scattered grains, an imaging unit 105 to determine distance and dimensions of area having scattered grains, an extendable rod 106 installed in between the distal end 104 and the handle 103 for positioning a curved plate 107 integrated with multiple hinges 108 on the distal end 104 over the surface, a rotation and translation arrangement 109 integrated in between the plate 107 and distal end 104 for providing a reciprocating forward and backward movement to the plate 107 to collect grains onto the plate 107 via multiple flaps 110 installed on periphery of the plate 107 via an extendable link 111 with a motorized hinge joint 112.
