Abstract: A handheld finishing assistive device for cylindrical items, comprising a cylindrical body 101 for positioning body 101 in proximity to an object to be finished, a cushioned member is fabricated over handle 102 for providing a comfortable grip to user’s hand, a microphone 103 for enabling user to provide input voice commands regarding finishing, an imaging unit 104 to determine dimensions of object, a hollow cylindrical member 105 integrated with a drawer arrangement to increase/decrease dimensions of member 105, as per object’s dimensions, in a manner that said member 105 is jacketed over object, a DC motor to provide rotational movement to member 105, in view of brushing a sand paper arranged on inner periphery of said member 105, against object’s surface, thus grinding said object’s periphery, in view of finishing said surface, as per requirement.
