MUMBAI, India, June 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411094264 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges on November 30, 2024, for Handheld Eye-Lid Massage Assistive Device.

Inventors include Dr. Shweta Pandey; Dr. Dakshita Hardatt; and Hemant Jethi.

The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: A handheld eye-lid massage assistive device, comprising a U-shaped frame 101 possessing two hemispherical members 102 on the frame 101 accessed by a user for gripping the frame 101, a microphone 103 integrated on the frame 101 for receiving user’s input command, a curved slot 104 arranged on the member for enabling the user to accommodate an ice-cube, an imaging unit 105 mounted on the slot 104 to monitor ice-cube’s dimension, an inflatable member 106 integrated inside the slot 104 to grip the accommodated ice-cube properly, a ball and socket joint 107 integrated in between the slot 104 and the frame 101 for rotating the ice-cubes to provide messaging experience, a nozzle 108 integrated on the frame 101 by means of a telescopically operated hollow pole 109 to dispense a massaging gel stored in a vessel 113 configured with the frame 101 on the user’s eyelid.
