Abstract: A handheld corn kernels peeling assistive device, comprises an extendable body 101 having a proximal and distal end having a handle 102 is attached with the proximal end that is gripped by a user for positioning the distal end in proximity to a corn cob, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 104 integrated in the body 101 to determine distance of the cob’s kernels from the distal end, a moisture sensor embedded in the body 101 for detecting moisture content of the kernels, an angle sensor embedded in the body 101 for detecting inclination angle of the body 101 with respect to the cob’s surface,, an optical sensor embedded in the body 101 for determining dimensions of the corn kernels, and a motorized sliding unit to provide precise translation to the blade 107, for removing the cooked corn kernels.
