Abstract: Hand-Lever Operated Mechanical Walker with Cable-Driven Propulsion and Safety Braking System Abstract The present invention relates to a hand-lever operated mechanical walker designed to provide assisted mobility without the use of electrical components. The walker comprises a supporting frame (104) mounted on front free-rolling wheels (106) and at least one rear drive wheel (107). A hand-operated drive lever (102) positioned near a handle grip (101) is mechanically connected through a flexible cable (105) to the rear wheel (107), enabling forward motion upon actuation. A ratchet mechanism (108) is integrated with the rear wheel (107) to permit unidirectional forward rotation and prevent backward movement. The invention further includes a manual brake lever (103) connected to a braking mechanism (109) for immediate stopping control. The rear wheel (107) is supported on an axle (110). The invention provides a safe, reliable, low-cost, and energy-independent mobility aid particularly suitable for elderly and physically challenged users. Figure-1
