Abstract: ABSTRACT Hand arthritis commonly leads to reduced grip strength, limited dexterity, and difficulty perf01ming daily activities, significantly atTecting quality of life. This project presents the design and application of a therapeutic hand hunt maze board incorporating pathways and multiple grip sizes to support progressive hand rehabilitation. The device encourages patients to maneuver objects through maze patterns while using varied grasp positions, promoting muscle activation, joint mobility, coordination, and functional grip strength. Different grip diameters allow graded resistance and adaptability to individual patient capabilities and stages of recovery. The board is designed to be low-cost, portable, and user-friendly, enabling both supervised clinical therapy and home-based exercises. By integrating task- oriented movements with ergonomic grip training, the tool aims to improve adherence to rehabilitation programs while enhancing hand function. Preliminary observations suggest potential benefits in strengthening intrinsic and extrinsic hand muscles, improving tine motor control, and reducing functional limitations in arthritis patients. The hand maze board may serve as a practical adjunct to conventional occupational and physiotherapy interventions for individuals experiencing reduced hand strength due to arthritis
