MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511023220 A) filed by Sanskriti University on March 15, 2025, for Hand-Held Object Securing Assistive Device.

Inventors include Bhawana Saraswat; and Dr. Pankaj Kumar Goswami.

Abstract: A hand-held object securing assistive device, comprising a C-shaped frame 101 developed to be held by a user for attaching with an elongated object, a pair of semicircular flaps 102 arranged on the frame 101 for clamping the user’s palm, a microphone 103 integrated in the frame 101 for enabling a user to provide input voice commands, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 104 i integrated in the frame 101 to determine dimensions of the elongated object, a circular member 105 having a motorized iris lid attached on the frame 101 for allowing the user to insert the object within the member 105, an extendable link 106 integrated in between the member 105 and slider 107 for extending/retracting to maintain an optimum distance between the user’s palm and object, thus allowing the user to perform user-desired task.
