Abstract: A hand-held nut or bolt fastening and unfastening assistive device, comprises of an elongated body 101 having a handle 102 that is accessed by a user for acquiring a grip over the body 101, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 103 installed on the body 101 to determine dimensions of the nut/ bolt, motorized C-shaped clamp 202 is provided with front side of the member 104, dynamically regulated by the microcontroller to hold the nut/ bolt securely, a power screw rod 201 connected to the C-shaped clamp 202 to convert rotary motion into linear movement, allowing the clamp 202 to adjust size and position of the nut/ bolt, a ratchet-pawl mechanism 105 integrated within the member 104 and operatively connected with the clamp 202 to facilitate movement and adjustment of pawl angle, and a corrosion detection sensor provided with the body 101 to detect presence of corrosion over the nut/ bolt.
