Abstract: A hand-held leaves/ trash collection assistive device comprises of a T-shaped telescopic frame 101 having a first and second portion 102, 103, a pair of bidirectional wheels 104 are attached on the first portion 102 for movement of the frame 101 on surface, an ultrasonic sensor for detecting height of a user present in proximity to the frame 101, two handles 105 attached with the second portion 103 to maneuver over the surface, an imaging unit 106 detects presence of leaves and trash present over the surface, a motorized air blower 107 mounted on the first portion 102 for blowing stream of air to collect leaves/trash inside a cuboidal chamber 109 attached with the first portion 102 by collecting leaves/trash via a robotic link, a level sensor for detecting level of leaves/ trash collected inside the chamber 109, a hydraulic pusher 111 to compress leaves/trash of the chamber 109.
