MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511017448 A) filed by Sanskriti University on February 27, 2025, for Hand-Held Fertilizer Spraying Assistive Device.

Inventors include Dr. Ravindra Kumar Pandey; and Dr. Satish Chand.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: A hand-held fertilizer spraying assistive device, comprises of a cylindrical hollow body 101 configured with a plurality of sections 102 dedicated towards storage of different fertilizers, a harness 103 attached with body 101 for securing body 101 around waist portion, a touch enabled screen 104 installed on body 101 to give input commands regarding an amount of fertilizers that is to be sprayed, a motorized iris lid 105 installed with section 102 to open for dispensing user-specified amount of specific fertilizers in a plate 106 installed underneath body 101 via an L-shaped member 107, a pair of flaps 108 attached with lateral ends of plate 106 via a pair of hinge joint 109 for forming a boundary around plate 106, a speaker 111 mounted in plate to notify user regarding detected weight, and a spiral mixer 110 installed on base of plate 106 for spreading fertilizer on agricultural field.
