Abstract: The Hand Crank Power Supply with Backup and Device Management project presents a selfsustaining, portable energy solution designed to provide reliable electricity in off-grid, emergency, and hybrid-use environments. The system converts mechanical energy generated through manual hand cranking into electrical energy using a high-efficiency DC generator. This generated power is regulated and stored in a rechargeable backup battery to ensure continuous output even when active cranking is not in progress. An intelligent power management unit is integrated to monitor voltage, current, and battery status, ensuring safe and optimized energy distribution to connected devices. The system supports multiple output interfaces, such as USB and low-voltage DC ports, enabling compatibility with mobile phones, small electronic gadgets, LED lighting, and communication devices. Protection mechanisms including overcharge, deep discharge, and short-circuit protection enhance system reliability and user safety. Designed under the "None/Hybrid" competition category, the project emphasizes sustainability, portability, and resilience without dependence on conventional grid infrastructure. The hybrid aspect allows the integration of additional renewable sources such as small solar panels, further improving efficiency and usability. This solution is particularly suitable for disaster relief operations, rural electrification, outdoor activities, and military field applications, where dependable and environmentally friendly power generation is essential.
