Abstract: A haircut assistive device, comprising a circular frame 101 configured with a pair of semicircular members 102 connected from one end via a motorize hinge joint 103, the frame 101 is accessed by a user to accommodate members 102 around legs of a chair over which an individual requiring a haircut is accommodated, an imaging unit 104 installed over frame 101 determines presence and dimensions of the chair and accordingly actuates the hinge joint 103 to orient the members 102 in view of enclosing the legs within the frame 101, a proximity sensor installed over the frame 101 and synced with the imaging unit 104 to monitor distance of the legs from the members 102, multiple hydraulic rods 105 configured with inner periphery of each of the members 102 to extend and position a motorized expandable gripper 106 configured with each of the rods 105.
