Abstract: ABSTRACT A guided orthodontic positioning device for accurate and reproducible placement of temporary anchorage devices (TADs), particularly between adjacent teeth. The device comprises an occlusally supported guiding component, a buccally extending positioning component having a plurality of selectively usable apertures and/or slots at different vertical levels, and an adjustable coupling permitting controlled horizontal positioning. A selected aperture or slot receives a positioning instrument such as a probe, pin, marker, guide sleeve, pilot instrument or TAD placement instrument to identify or guide the intended insertion location. The device provides a stable intraoral reference and controlled horizontal and vertical positioning while reducing reliance on subjective freehand estimation. The device may be reusable, disposable or partly disposable and may be manufactured from medical-grade polymers, stainless steel, titanium, composite materials or combinations thereof. It is suitable for chairside use without mandatory digital scanning, computer-aided planning or three-dimensional printing.
