Abstract: ABSTRACT “GUIDE RNA(s), CRISPR COMPLEX AND METHOD(S) FOR TARGETING HPV HUMAN PAPILLOMA VIRUS (HPV) The present provides means and methods for efficient targeting and inactivation of HPV in infected 5 cells in case of HPV infection. The present invention is based on the rationale that a locally delivered targeted nuclease to cause HPV gene knockout is a safe and effective strategy for therapy of HPV and HPV-associated cancers. Accordingly, to facilitate the said targeting provided herein are guide RNA sequence(s), CRISPR-Cas system(s) comprising the same, composition(s) and method(s) for targeting specific genes in the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) genome. The guide 10 RNA sequence(s) show high stability and strong Cas interaction.
