Abstract: ABSTRACT GROUND STATION SYSTEM WITH CROSS-BAND PREDICTIVE ANTENNA TRACKING FOR TELEMETRY AND VIDEO A ground station system (100) for receiving telemetry from a moving aerial target comprises a multi-element stacked Yagi-Uda antenna array (110) receiving radio-frequency signals on a first frequency band, an RF combining network (120), a low-noise amplifier (130), and a telemetry receiver module (140) demodulating and decoding telemetry packets. A motorized antenna mount (170) adjustable in azimuth and elevation carries a video receiving antenna (180) receiving signals on a second frequency band different from the first frequency band, and a video receiver (190) demodulates the video signal. A ground control platform (150) validates telemetry packets and parses position, altitude, and inertial parameters. A tracking controller (200) comprises a state-estimation filter estimating a future position of the target and generating azimuth and elevation pointing commands driving the motorized antenna mount (170) to aim the video receiving antenna (180) toward the estimated future position, establishing a cross-band predictive pointing loop.
