MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511016960 A) filed by Sanskriti University on February 26, 2025, for Ground Digging Assistive Device.
Inventors include Dr. Jai Prakash Gupta; and Dr. Radhey Shyam.

Abstract: A ground digging assistive device, comprising a disc 101 having first and second side, wherein plurality of telescopic rods 102 configured with first side that are gripped by a user to position second side in proximity to a scrap that is to be cut, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 103 installed over disc 101 to detect distance of scrap from second blade 105, distance of scrap from second blade 105 to provide extension to blade 105 in view of enabling blade 105 to apply force over scrap and cut scrap, a tactile sensor integrated with blade 105 to monitor hardness of scrap, an IR sensor is installed over disc 101 to determine presence of any living animal in scrap and in case of detection of animal.
