Abstract: ABSTRACT A novel invention reveals an integrated smart system capable of real-time monitoring, identifying, and optimizing the distribution of electricity in power grids of smart grid type. The system not only tackles losses of electricity from non-technical sources, like electricity theft, but also at the same time, uses energy more efficiently through changeable load management strategy. Dual-node architecture in a distributed mode is a core of the invention. One monitoring unit is installed to observe parameters upstream, the other at the Consumers side. The two units are fitted with precisely calibrated voltage and current sensors, respectively. As electrical parameters are sampled continuously, the synchronized data are transmitted to an embedded processing unit. A differential power analytics algorithm with temporal threshold validation is applied to identify the discrepancies between supplied and consumed power. This way, unauthorized electricity usage can be detected reliably and accurately. When some irregular situation of power system is found in a monitoring unit, a corresponding alarm signal is generated together with a call to the location module. The captured data of the exact geospatial position will In addition, the invention also includes the demand response functionality that analyses real time customer consumption to detect the occurrence of high loading and to recommend or execute With communication, the system relies on the IoT communication stack allowing for various wireless connections such as Wi-Fi, A new invention brings everything under control - a theft of electric energy detection function a geographic telematics tracking a smart demand response function - within a single platform. This combination of features greatly enhances grid protection, productivity, and environmental sustainability.
