MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641056115 A) filed by B. S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute Of Science And Technology on May 02, 2026, for Green Synthesis Of Silver Nanoparticles Using Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract To Control Vibrio Species.

Inventors include Dr. S. Hemalatha; Dr. S. Ranjani; and I. Suha Kouser.

Abstract: The present subject matter is a formulation for controlling Vibrio species. The formulation comprises silver nanoparticles capped with the Camellia sinensis leaf extract. The method of preparation of the formulation comprises preparation of the Camellia sinensis leaf extract, and preparation of the silver nanoparticles by reducing silver nitrate using the Camellia sinensis extract.
