Abstract: The present invention discloses a gravity-driven sleeve turbine for low-head, high-flow micro-hydro power generation. The turbine comprises a stationary central stator hub pipe (10) with precisely angled carved water-discharge slots (12) spanning 140 ° to 162 °, a rotating rotor sleeve (20) supported on a hydrodynamic water- lubricated bearing, multiple hollow water-delivery ducts (22), and rectangular water chambers (24) having a capacity of approximately 413 litres each (plus 168 litres in ducts). Each water chamber is equipped with an advanced multi one-way flap system (primary flap (50), secondary buoyancy flap (56), and duct flap (70)) with rubber gaskets to minimize spillage, control water movement, and actively maintain the centre of gravity of the water mass toward the outer descending side during rotation. The invention is described in two embodiments — a two-chamber configuration (180 ° apart) for cost-effective applications and a three-chamber configuration (120 ° apart) for smoother torque and higher output. The turbine efficiently converts gravitational potential energy into mechanical torque at low rotational speed (~3 RPM) and is particularly suitable for mountain streams and variable flow conditions, as substantially shown in Figure 14 of the accompanying drawings.
