Abstract: A gravel dispensing device for road construction comprises of a cuboidal housing 101, a pair of clamps 102 at a rear end of housing 101 for clamping onto a rear part of vehicle, a pair of sliding units positioned on two oppositely located bottom edges of housing 101 for translating plate 103, a plurality of rectangular flaps 105 coupled radially for dispensing gravel from housing 101 by rotation of flaps 105, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 106 installed on housing 101 for recording and processing images in a vicinity of housing 101, a RPM (rotations per minute) sensor provided in housing 101 for detecting a rotational rate of flaps 105.
