Abstract: Provided is a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet that can sufficiently suppress the building factor when used as an iron core material for a transformer. This grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet includes: a parent material steel sheet that contains at least Ga (0.0001%–0.0050%); and an undercoating film. The Ti content of the grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet is 0.0050%–0.0210%. The ratio R17 of W17/50 and Wh17 and the ratio R19 of W19/50 and Wh19 satisfies R17=R19=0.70.
