Abstract: Abstract A graduated locking stopper mechanism for endodontic files is disclosed. The device includes a stopper body with a central lumen for receiving a file shaft and an integrated, selectively engagable mechanical locking mechanism. The locking mechanism, which may be a ratchet system, a screw clamp, or a spring collet, securely fixes the stopper body at a user-selected position on the file shaft, preventing accidental displacement during root canal procedures. The stopper body further includes graduated measurement markings to facilitate accurate working length setting. The invention provides a simple, cost-effective, and reliable solution for maintaining working length accuracy, improving procedural safety and efficiency in endodontic treatment.
