Abstract: Adolescent girls represent a population of heightened psychological vulnerability, navigating simultaneous biological, cognitive, emotional and social transitions that place significant demands on their psychological resources. Existing interventions for adolescent distress have predominantly adopted pathology-focused approaches emphasising symptom management, leaving a substantial gap for structured, evidence-based, non-pharmacological programmes that systematically cultivate positive psychological resources as primary well-being mechanisms. The present invention discloses the GRACE Positive Psychology Intervention, a structured and group- based programme designed to enhance psychological well-being and reduce distress among adolescent girls aged 13 to 17 years. The six modules address: (1) Orientation and Psychoeducation; (2) Gratitude and Mindfulness; (3) Building Positive and Kind Relationships; (4) Strengths, Resilience and Optimism; (5) Purpose, Goals and Savouring; and (6) Termination through eleven sessions for a duration of 60-75 minutes. The intervention provides a replicable, theoretically integrated, and resource-accessible framework for delivering positive psychology principles in school-based and clinical group settings, offering a scalable non-pharmacological programme to improve adolescent psychological health.
