Abstract: GNSS ENABLED EV CHARGING SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATED VEHICLE RECOGNITION AND PAYMENT PROCESSING ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a GNSS-enabled electric vehicle (EV) charging system that enables fully automated vehicle recognition, authentication, and payment processing at charging stations. The system includes an onboard GNSS communication module for transmitting vehicle location and identification details, a charging station controller for comparing received coordinates with predefined geofence limits, and a backend server for verifying registered vehicle information and payment credentials. When an authorized vehicle enters the charging station vicinity, authentication is performed automatically, and the charging session is initiated without the need for RFID cards, mobile applications, or manual user input. The system supports OCPP and MQTT communication protocols for interoperability with existing charging networks. The invention improves convenience, reduces infrastructure cost, and enhances charging efficiency, thereby supporting widespread adoption of electric vehicles.
