Abstract: A glenoid implant assembly (100) for shoulder replacement includes glenoid (102) and glenoid sleeve (104) that is configured to receive glenoid (102). Moreover, glenoid (102) includes plurality of lugs positioned on circumference of one or more rings of glenoid (102) and locking ring (204) positioned along circumference of glenoid (102). Furthermore, glenoid sleeve (104) includes plurality of grooves positioned around an inner circumference of glenoid sleeve (104) configured to mate and interlock with plurality of lugs. Additionally, plurality of lugs and plurality of grooves have complementary shapes to provide a friction-fit engagement and locking slot (304) positioned along the inner circumference of the glenoid sleeve (104) that is configured to align and engage with the locking ring (204) of glenoid (102), thereby securing glenoid (102) within the glenoid sleeve (104) by preventing axial and rotational movement.
