Abstract: A glass bottle packaging assistive device comprising a platform 101, an input means 102 operatively linked with a microcontroller to enable a user to provide input command regarding initiation of a glass bottle handling and packaging operation, a pair of robotic grippers 105 installed over the platform 101 to securely grasp glass bottles from a storage chamber 106 configured on platform 101 and place grasped bottles over a processing area arranged on platform 101, a motorized conveyor 107 arranged over platform 101 to translate bottles placed by robotic grippers 105 from processing area along a predefined conveying path, a pair of extendable links 108 having cushioned curved flaps 109 at end arranged on each of a pair of curved panels 110 over the conveyor 107 to translate bottles towards a packaging area, a sensing unit integrated with the panels 110 to detect defective bottles and divert them for discarding.
