MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611111399 A) filed by Manipal University Jaipur on September 17, 2026, for Gether: Generative Emission Temporal Hybrid Explainable Regressor.

Inventors include Ekaagra Gupta; Simran Kaur; and Dr. Varun Tiwari.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a quantum-hybrid environmental intelligence system and method for air-quality forecasting and analysis. The system comprises collecting the atmospheric and meteorological data comprising pollutant parameters and environmental variables, preprocesses and temporally synchronizes the acquired data, and generates temporal environmental representations including lag-memory embeddings, rolling statistical representations, temporal dependency vectors, cyclical encodings, and historical AQI features. A quantum-hybrid forecasting engine comprising an LSTM-based learning architecture processes the temporal representations to generate future AQI predictions by learning nonlinear pollutant interactions and long-term atmospheric dependencies. An explainable environmental intelligence layer determines pollutant contribution and feature-attribution information associated with the predictions, while a causal atmospheric discovery engine identifies causal relationships and dominant environmental drivers.
