Abstract: The present invention discloses an artificial intelligence-based fetal brain MRI anomaly detection system that analyzes fetal magnetic resonance imaging data using gestational-age-adaptive normative digital twin modelling and motion-aware multi-sequence analysis. The system receives fetal MRI data from one or more imaging sequences, including T2-weighted, diffusion-weighted, ADC, and optional T1-weighted images. The system performs fetal-motion assessment, slice quality evaluation, image correction, three-dimensional fetal brain reconstruction, anatomical segmentation, and multi-sequence feature extraction. A gestational-age-specific normative fetal brain digital twin is generated or retrieved based on expected fetal brain development for the corresponding gestational age. The reconstructed fetal MRI is compared with the normative digital twin to identify anatomical, volumetric, structural, symmetry-based, and signal-intensity deviations. The system generates region- wise anomaly scores, overall anomaly risk scores, explainable heatmaps, and scan-quality feedback. The invention assists radiologists and clinicians in identifying fetal brain abnormalities with improved consistency, interpretability, and gestational-age-specific diagnostic support.
