Abstract: The present invention discloses a geo-spatial adaptive railway crop protection and emission mitigation control system (100) configured to minimize locomotive- generated environmental hazards affecting agricultural land adjacent railway tracks. The system (100) comprises a control and AI processing unit (104) operatively connected with a GNSS-based geo-fencing module, an AI-based computer vision module including at least one AI-vision camera (101), a wind sensor or anemometer (102), and a thermal sensing array including a temperature feedback sensor (405). The control and AI processing unit (104) continuously processes locomotive positional data and agricultural mapping information to identify crop regions. The system selectively activates an actuated exhaust diversion shutter (401), a spark arrestor assembly (103), dust suppression mist nozzles (106), and a waste gate lock mechanism (105) based on locomotive speed, exhaust characteristics, and wind conditions upon detection of an agricultural zone, thereby reducing emission drift, dust migration, spark discharge, waste contamination, and crop damage.
