MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641097836 A) filed by Dr. M. Karuna Sree on August 13, 2026, for Geo-Adaptive Ai System For Crop Allocation, Income Forecasting And Farm Risk Optimisation.

Inventor includes Dr. M. Karuna Sree.

The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: The invention discloses a geo-adaptive artificial intelligence system for crop allocation, income forecasting and farm-risk optimisation. The system acquires and fuses plot-level geospatial, soil, water, weather, sensor, remote-sensing, crop, market and financial data; validates unreliable observations; computes crop-suitability values; forecasts yield and farm-gate price; estimates gross revenue, net income, forecast intervals and multidimensional farm risk; and selects a risk-adjusted crop-allocation configuration under land, water, budget, labour, crop-rotation and diversification constraints. The selected configuration can be converted into machine-readable operational instructions for irrigation controllers, edge devices and agricultural machinery. The system can dynamically recalculate recommendations following changes in weather, soil moisture, water availability, crop condition or market information and can update subsequent forecasts using actual yield, cost, price, water-use and income outcomes.
