The system comprises a bacterial host cell genetically modified to incorporate recombinant DNA, which includes a plurality of cellulase genes. These genes are integrated into the bacterial genome using plasmid vectors, with expression controlled by regulatory elements such as promoters and enhancers. The bacterial host cell is engineered to co-express multiple cellulase genes, enhancing its capability to produce a diverse array of cellulase enzymes. The host cell is selected for its robustness, enabling it to withstand industrial conditions like high temperatures and varying pH levels, and may include stress- resistance genes for added resilience. Cultivation occurs in a bioreactor system optimized for growth and enzyme production, with the cellulase enzymes secreted into the surrounding medium for interaction with cellulose substrates.
