MUMBAI, India, Aug. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641098894 A) filed by Hanumanth Sastry Sistla on August 15, 2026, for Generative Ai Driven Simulation-Based Training System And Method For Certifiable Nmc Psychiatry Skills In Suicide Risk Assessment.
Inventor includes Dr Gopal Das Cm.
The application for the patent was published on August 21, 2026, under issue no. 34/2026.
Abstract: A Generative Artificial Intelligence driven simulation-based training system is disclosed for scalable training and competency assessment of certifiable psychiatry skills, particularly suicide risk assessment. The system comprises a curriculum and competency configuration module, scenario parameter engine, director/orchestrator agent, patient-simulator agent, evaluator agent, independent validation and safety agent, clinical knowledge and rubric repository, learner interaction interface, and audit and analytics module. The scenario engine generates configurable simulated patient cases by varying contextual, clinical, psychosocial, ideational, motivational and volitional parameters. The director agent orchestrates the scenario, while the patient-simulator agent conducts adaptive text and/or voice interaction. The evaluator assesses learner performance against predefined learning objectives and competency criteria and generates structured feedback. The independent validation and safety agent monitors scenarios, interactions and assessments and can block, regenerate or escalate low-confidence or unsafe outputs to a qualified expert. Expert validation is incorporated through a controlled human-in-the-loop mechanism. The platform supports repeatable simulation, scenario diversity, longitudinal competency analytics and extension from text and voice to animated, virtual-reality and three-dimensional environments.
