The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a self-nanoemulsifying drug delivery system (SNEDDS) comprising Gemcitabine and Quercetin for management of pancreatic cancer. The SNEDDS comprises Gemcitabine, Quercetin, Labrasol as an oil phase, Tween-80 as a surfactant, and Transcutol-P as a co-surfactant, forming a thermodynamically stable isotropic pre-concentrate. Upon aqueous dilution, the formulation spontaneously forms an oil-in-water nanoemulsion having a droplet size ranging from 45 nm to 78 nm and a polydispersity index below 0.40. The formulation exhibits cumulative drug release of at least 80% within 12 hours and is suitable for oral administration for pancreatic cancer therapy.
