The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a gear-based direct power transmission arrangement for a dual-screw amphibious vehicle, configured to transfer rotational power from a motor to a screw propulsion shaft through direct mechanical engagement. The transmission arrangement comprises a motor having a motor shaft, a driver gear coupled to the motor shaft, a driven gear coupled to a screw shaft, and a rigid motor mounting arrangement configured to maintain alignment between the driver gear and the driven gear. The driver gear and the driven gear are arranged in direct meshing engagement such that rotation of the motor shaft is transferred directly to the screw shaft for driving the screw propulsion member. The motor mounting arrangement provides rigid support and maintains smooth engagement between the gears during operation. The direct gear-based arrangement eliminates the need for an intermediate flexible belt and provides direct power transmission without observed slippage. The implemented prototype comprises substantially equal driver and driven gears having a 1:1 gear ratio, thereby maintaining the rotational relationship between the motor and screw shaft. The arrangement provides consistent screw rotation and reliable mechanical power transfer for the dual-screw propulsion system.
