Abstract: The invention relates to a gas-liquid separator for a vehicle's fuel tank includes a first cup structure with an aperture on its base to create a fluid communication path with the interior of the fuel tank. This first cup structure features a flange portion extending outwardly from its top. Inside the first cup structure is a second cup structure, also equipped with an aperture on its base to enable fluid communication between the two cup structures. A conduit passes through both cup structures to transport fuel vapors out of the separator and the fuel tank. A top plate covers the second cup structure and is attached to the outwardly extending flange of the first cup structure using capacitor discharge welding.
