The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a gas-liquid separation system (100) for separating liquid droplets from a gas-liquid feed stream. The gas-liquid separation system (100) includes a cyclone separator having a straight cylindrical portion (1) and a conical section (3) extending downwardly therefrom. A tangential feed inlet (6) introduces the gas-liquid feed stream and establishes a vortex. A gas riser (7) arranged concentrically within the straight cylindrical portion (1) receives separated gas from an upward vortex and discharges the separated gas. An annular drip sleeve (8) arranged around the gas riser (7) intercepts separated liquid and inhibits liquid carryover. A dip leg (5) conveys separated liquid into a liquid seal chamber (4), wherein a hydraulic seal inhibits gas flow through the dip leg (5). A cooling jacket (2) with a coolant inlet (9) and a coolant outlet (10) may regulate process temperature.
