The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a compact gain-enhanced petal-shaped MIMO antenna system integrated with a frequency-selective surface (FSS) for sub-6 GHz vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication. The antenna comprises dual orthogonally arranged petal- shaped radiating elements on an FR4 substrate with a defected ground structure for enhanced isolation. A periodic FSS array is positioned beneath the antenna to act as a reflector, improving gain through constructive interference. The system achieves wide bandwidth, high isolation exceeding 25 dB, peak gain of approximately 7.58 dBi, and ???????? diversity performance with low envelope correlation coefficient and high diversity gain. The invention provides a compact, efficient, and reliable antenna solution for next-generation vehicular communication systems.
