Abstract: A gadget interaction assistive device for visually and audibly impaired users, comprising a housing 101, a holding assembly comprises one or more extendable support rods 201 terminating in a cushion pad 202 to securely accommodate the portable gadget, an input interface 102 comprising a structured array of pressure sensors 103 in a grid configuration to detect touch location, pressure intensity and contact duration for assessing a pressure input, an output interface 104 comprising a pneumatic braille display having a flexible membrane 105 and an underlying matrix of extendable pins 106 to form a braille pattern corresponding to the user commands, a push button 108 to transmit confirmation signals to the portable gadget to type, select or execute a pre-determined action on a selected user interface, and a thermal management pad 203 comprising a phase change material (PCM) gel 204 for absorbing and regulating heat upon detection of exceeded heat.
