MUMBAI, India, June 19 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617055159 A) filed by Ihi Corporation on April 30, 2026, for Furnace.
Inventors include Ozaki, Naoki; Watanabe, Kazuhiro; and Hanaoka, Ryo.
The application for the patent was published on June 05, 2026, under issue no. 23/2026.
Abstract: This furnace comprises: a burner (10) that selectively injects, into a combustion space (S), a first fuel that is more readily combustible than ammonia and a second fuel that contains ammonia; a first temperature sensor (T1) that measures the temperature of a wall (16) defining the combustion space (S); a second temperature sensor (T2) that measures the temperature of the combustion space (S); a third temperature sensor (T3) that measures the temperature of the burner (10); and a control device. The control device stores a reference temperature for each of the temperature sensors (T1, T2, T3). The control device executes first control for controlling the burner (10) so as to inject the first fuel when each of the measured temperatures of the temperature sensors (T1, T2, T3) is lower than the respective reference temperatures, and executes second control for controlling the burner (10) so as to inject the second fuel when at least one of the measured temperatures of the temperature sensors (T1, T2, T3) reaches the corresponding reference temperature.
