Abstract: The present invention relates to a frequency-scaled decoupled control system for a non-minimum-phase magnetically coupled dual-input dual-output (DIDO) DC-DC boost converter. The method comprises determining multivariable transfer dynamics of the converter and generating cross-decoupling transfer functions for reducing cross-coupling between first and second output ports. The transfer functions are generated by inverting only minimum-phase dynamics while excluding non-minimum- phase dynamics associated with at least one right-half-plane (RHP) zero from inversion or compensation. A frequency-dependent inter-port interaction and a limiting RHP-zero frequency are determined. A maximum allowable decoupling bandwidth is analytically determined based on a prescribed controller crossover frequency, the inter-port interaction quantity, and the limiting RHP-zero frequency. A low-pass filter cutoff frequency is constrained by the maximum allowable decoupling bandwidth to provide finite-band cross-decoupling while progressively attenuating cross-decoupling before a non-minimum-phase frequency region, thereby reducing cross- regulation while maintaining stable output-voltage regulation Figure of Abstract – Fig. 1
