Abstract: A frequency-gated neuromorphic liver diagnostic system receives a liver medical image, generates original and residual texture representations, and decomposes intermediate features into low- and high-frequency components. An adaptive gate determines a sample-dependent mixing coefficient and generates frequency- conditioned current for bounded latency or time-to-first-spike encoding. A plurality of stateful spiking-neuron layers processes the resulting sparse event sequence and a temporal aggregator generates a liver-disease output. A training objective jointly controls class-balanced diagnostic error and spike activity. An explainability module produces spike-weighted spatial saliency and temporal evidence, while an uncertainty and quality gate can qualify, defer, or request reacquisition of an image. A multi- modal transfer module aligns pre-spike representations across ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and near-infrared fluorescence modalities. A hardware interface maps the model to an event-driven neuromorphic processor and records firing rate, event operations, latency, and optionally measured energy.
