Abstract: An IoT-enabled Smart Healthcare Kiosk is disclosed for automated vital sign monitoring and real-time remote clinical decision support, particularly suited for deployment in rural, remote, and underserved regions with limited access to healthcare professionals. The kiosk integrates a suite of biomedical sensors including MAX30102 for heart rate and blood oxygen saturation, 10 MLX90614 for non-contact body temperature, a load cell with HX711 module for weight, an ultrasonic sensor for height, a digital blood pressure module, and an optional AD8232 ECG module interfaced with an ESP32 embedded controller. The controller filters, validates, and transmits acquired data using Wi-Fi or 4G to a cloud-based Firebase database, enabling a remote doctor dashboard to display patient vitals in real time. A rule-based alert mechanism 15 flags abnormal readings for immediate telemedicine intervention, while persistent electronic health records support longitudinal tracking. An optional solar-powered configuration enables standalone, off-grid deployment, extending healthcare accessibility to resource-constrained regions. PATENT
