MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611087810 A) filed by Vivekananda Institute Of Professional Studies - Technical Campus on July 17, 2026, for Fpga-Based Quantum Inspired Circuit For Medical Image Detection.
Inventors include Ketan; Shikha; Vivid Goel; and Dr. Anand Kumar Singh.
The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: A FPGA-based quantum inspired circuit for medical image detection, comprising an input interface 101 to receive normalized pixel intensity data derived from medical images, an FPGA platform 102 operatively connected to input interface 101 for real-time processing using fixed-point quantum inspired gate modules, a Hadamard gate emulation module 103 to generate superposition-like state transformations, a phase inversion module 104 to invert selected state components using two’s complement arithmetic, a cascaded quantum inspired gate sequence 105 comprising alternating Hadamard and phase inversion modules 103, 104 arranged in an H-Z-H-Z-H configuration, a threshold based decision unit 106 to classify processed data into normal or anomaly indicative output states and generate tumor likelihood indicators, and a control and interface module 107 configured to route data and transmit classification results, wherein the FPGA platform 102 operates without external memory resources and performs deterministic real-time medical image anomaly detection using fixed-point quantum inspired gate emulation.
