Abstract: Abstract This invention presents an FPGA-based implementation of a low-power RISC-V RV32IM processor optimized for embedded systems, real-time applications, and educational research platforms. The processor architecture is based on the open-source RISC-V RV32IM Instruction Set Architecture (ISA), supporting 32-bit integer operations together with multiplication and division extensions. The processor is implemented using Verilog Hardware Description Language (HDL) and validated on FPGA hardware platforms. The design integrates peripheral communication modules including UART, GPIO, APB bus interfaces, and JTAG debugging support. The architecture is optimized for reduced power consumption, efficient resource utilization, and high-performance embedded execution.
