The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a four-element multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) antenna comprising four modified substantially hexagonal radiating elements (M1–M4) respectively associated with four antenna ports (Port-1–Port-4). The four radiating elements are arranged around a central conductive decoupling structure comprising a substantially circular configuration having an inner radius r_1and an outer radius r_2. The central conductive structure modifies the electromagnetic coupling paths between the radiating elements and thereby reduces mutual coupling between the antenna ports. The radiating elements are excited through respective feed lines having predetermined dimensions. The antenna is configured to provide dual-band resonant operation, with simulated resonant characteristics around 13 GHz and 15.5 GHz. The MIMO characteristics are evaluated using S-parameters, surface current distribution, three-dimensional gain, peak gain, radiation efficiency, envelope correlation coefficient and diversity gain. The antenna provides a compact planar configuration suitable for high-frequency wireless communication applications.
