Abstract: The present invention discloses a herbal mosquito repellent roll-on formulation (100) comprising a carrier oil component (110) of almond oil and a synergistic blend of essential oils for topical application. The blended essential oil composition (170) comprises eucalyptus oil (120), clove oil (130), lavender oil (140), and bergamot oil (150) in predetermined proportions. The formulation is housed within a roll-on dispensing container (160) equipped with a roller ball applicator (162) for convenient and uniform skin application. The synergistic action of bioactive volatile compounds including eucalyptol, eugenol, linalool, and limonene interferes with mosquito olfactory chemosensory mechanisms. The formulation provides complete protection for thirty minutes and maintains greater than eighty-five percent repellency for up to two hours. The formulation exhibits a pH within the physiological skin range, demonstrates excellent stability, and causes no skin irritation, making it suitable for routine topical use.
