Abstract: ABSTRACT [0043] The leaves were dried and extracted with ethanol by using Soxhlet extraction method. The obtained extracts were incorporated into a suitable gel base. The prepared gel was evaluated for various physicochemical parameters including appearance, Homogeneity, Washability, pH, viscosity and spread ability. The antimicrobial activity of the formulated gel was assessed using the agar disc diffusion method against different microbial strains.
