Abstract: Abstract Now a day’s the majority of Indians are affected by the persistent skin illness known as acne vulgaris. Sebaceous glands are involved in the chronic inflammatory skin condition known as acne. Acne vulgaris is an extremely common skin disorder that affects virtually all individuals at least once during life. Acne vulgaris could be a disturbing issue especially for teenagers and adolescence. in keeping with global statistic, approximately 85% of population will suffer this skin issue at age around 12- 25 years, nearly 8% adults at age 23- 34 years old and only 3% of adults having acne at age 35-44 years old. The effectiveness of several components that are frequently utilized in these formulations—such as benzyl peroxide, Sulphur, salicylic acid, almond oil, rose water—is examined in this research. These components are useful for managing acne because of their established anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and sebum-regulating qualities. Examining the scientific evidence for their efficacy, the results show promise in lessening acne lesions and enhancing skin health with few adverse effects. The mechanisms of action of these herbal ingredients are explained, with a focus on how they work to suppress bacteria that cause acne, control oil production, and reduce inflammation.
