Abstract: The present invention discloses the formulation and evaluation of a Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum) and Garlic (Allium sativum) sublingual tablet for rapid cardio protection during cardiac arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. The increasing prevalence of cardiovascular diseases and the need for fast-acting therapeutic interventions necessitate the development of effective natural formulations with enhanced cardio protective potential. The sublingual tablet was prepared using optimized concentrations of Tulsi and Garlic extracts incorporated with pharmaceutically acceptable excipients to ensure rapid disintegration, stability, and efficient drug delivery. The formulation was designed to facilitate quick absorption through the sublingual mucosa, bypassing first-pass metabolism and providing an immediate therapeutic effect. The developed tablet was evaluated for its physicochemical properties, disintegration time, dissolution profile, and cardio protective potential. The results demonstrated satisfactory tablet characteristics, rapid release of active phytoconstituents, and enhanced antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, vasodilatory, and cardio protective activities. The developed herbal sublingual tablet represents a safe, effective, and promising natural therapeutic approach for rapid cardiovascular support and protection against cardiac injury.
